Crochet Icicles
I saw so beautiful icicles on Pattern but didn't find any pattern so I just made my own... it's very simple but I decided to write it down so more could enjoy it :)
Please don’t distribute the pattern itself, but feel welcome to share the link to the pattern as you like.
Materials:
1,5 mm hook,
Solberg Garn 12/4 Mercerisert
Abbreviations (US terms):
ch = chain,
sl st = slip stitch,
tr = treble crochet,
sp = space,
st = stich,
rnd = round.
Notice, do ch 4 instead of tr at the beginning of each row.
Instructions:
ch 10, join with sl st to 1st ch to form a ring.
Round 1: sl st in the ring, 6 tr in the ring, ch 6, 6 tr in the ring.
Round 2: sl st in each st to sp and in sp, 6 tr in sp, ch 5, 6 tr in sp.
Round 3: sl st in each st to sp and in sp, 5 tr in sp, ch 5, 5 tr in sp.
Round 4: sl st in each st to sp and in sp, 5 tr in sp, ch 4, 5 tr in sp.
Round 5: sl st in each st to sp and in sp, 4 tr in sp, ch 4, 4 tr in sp.
Round 6: sl st in each st to sp and in sp, 4 tr in sp, ch 3, 4 tr in sp.
Round 7: sl st in each st to sp and in sp, 3 tr in sp, ch 3, 3 tr in sp.
Round 8: sl st in each st to sp and in sp, 3 tr in sp, ch 2, 3 tr in sp.
Round 9: sl st in each st to sp and in sp, 2 tr in sp, ch 2, 2 tr in sp.
Round 10: sl st in each st to sp and in sp, 2 tr in sp, ch 1, 2 tr in sp.
Round 11: sl st in each st to sp and in sp, 2 tr in sp.
Round 12: sl st between tr from last round, ch 4.
In my smaller version I did just one rnd of each number of tr or 6 tr, ch 5, 6 tr, 5 tr, ch 4 , 5 tr and so on.
Bind off and weave in ends. I used sugar water (50/50 sugar and boiling water) to stiff mine and pinned it down on nonstick paper laid on a piece of styrofoam.
